Introduction to Nursing Science(Sino-UK)

Training Objectives

       Meeting the needs of socialist modernization and the development of health care, this major aims to cultivate talents with comprehensive development of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and labor education. Students are required to master the basic theories, knowledge and skills of the nursing science, and professional abilities of corresponding clinical thinking, clinical decision-making, nursing skills implementation and interpersonal communication, and are capable of engaging in nursing and preventive health care in various medical and health care institutions.

       Human Anatomy and Tissue Embryology, Physiology, Pathology and Pathophysiology, Microbiology and Immunology, Pharmacology, Introduction to Nursing, Basic Nursing, Health Assessment, Internal Medicine Nursing, Surgical Nursing, and Pediatric Nursing, Gynecological Nursing, Emergency and Critical Care Nursing, Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing, Rehabilitation Nursing, Community Nursing, etc.

Length of Study and Degree Award

The standard length of schooling is 3 years. Students who meet the graduation requirements will be awarded a diploma by Xuchang University. After graduation, students can apply for an undergraduate study in a partner university.
